Reid brings a unique combination of athletic discipline and insurance expertise to R2I. After a five-year NFL career as an offensive lineman drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals, where he learned the importance of preparation, teamwork, and protecting what matters most, Reid transitioned into the insurance industry. Over the past nine years, he's built deep expertise in employee benefits and commercial coverage, developing a reputation for transparent dealings and strategic thinking. His experience protecting quarterbacks on the field translates directly to protecting businesses off it. Anticipating risks, creating robust defensive strategies, and ensuring nothing gets through the gaps. Reid's Ohio State roots and professional football background give him a unique perspective on building winning teams, both for clients and within R2I.

Joel's journey from NFL offensive lineman to entrepreneur shows exactly the kind of grit he brings to R2I as Co-Founder. After hanging up his cleats, Joel didn't just start a business—he built Ready-2-Execute from the ground up in Indianapolis, turning it into a logistics company that actually gets what businesses need. Running Ready-2-Execute taught him everything about the real challenges companies face in Ohio and the Midwest: the late-night worries about coverage gaps, the frustration of rising premiums, and the constant juggle of protecting your team while watching your margins. That's why Joel doesn't just talk insurance theory—he's been in the trenches, making payroll, managing risk, and figuring out how to keep trucks rolling when things get tough. He knows insurance should work for business owners, not against them. Every conversation with a client comes from that same place: one business owner to another, cutting through the complexity to find what actually works.

ABOUT BRAXTON

A two-time Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year and Ohio State legend, Braxton brings the same innovation and adaptability that defined his football career to his role as Chief Revenue Officer at Ready-2-Insure. After finishing fifth in the 2012 Heisman Trophy voting and leading the Buckeyes as quarterback, Braxton successfully transitioned to wide receiver for his final college season—demonstrating the flexibility and strategic thinking he now applies to driving revenue growth and building client relationships. Following his NFL career with the Houston Texans, Eagles, and Browns, Braxton channeled his leadership into entrepreneurship, founding Charg1ng Sports and opening the Springfield Sports Academy, both focused on youth development and community impact.

These ventures, combined with his foundation work, have cultivated deep connections throughout Ohio's business community and given him genuine insight into investing in people and building lasting partnerships. Inducted into the Ohio State Athletics Hall of Fame in 2024, Braxton brings championship-level commitment to R2I's mission of transparency and exceptional client service. As Chief Revenue Officer, he leverages his unique combination of athletic excellence, entrepreneurial success, and community engagement to drive R2I's growth while maintaining the trust and integrity that define our approach to insurance solutions.
